Learning The Art Of Landscape Photography. As said in my last post, we both needed a short break from our recent family problems and a long weekend in Seahouses, Northumberland was arranged. And that was it, our hour on the Island was over and as we boarded the boat and made our way back.

For over 30 years my work has been about the relationship of people and landscape particularly the everyday life of those who work on the land. Recently the emphasis has shifted to the deeper aspects of how we use the land for everything that sustains us. This has caused a move towards ideas of dependence and exploitation of the Earth. Living in a small rural community in the Peak District has caused me to question how.
